Fill in the form and email, fax, or slow-mail your registration. Download a form to your browser Print the form, fill it out and fax, or slow-mail your registration. Conference Location Ann Arbor Best Western Executive Plaza 2899 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan United States 48103 734-665-4444 Special rate for Tcl/Tk Conference Attendees: $69.00 / Night! This rate is extended to 2 days before and after the conference dates (And maybe a bit more if you want to spend longer in Ann Arbor.) All guestrooms and public areas at the Ann Arbor Best Western Executive Plaza were renovated early 2002. This is a full-service hotel with a free continental breakfast (juice, coffee, fruit, cereals, and sweet-rolls), restaurant, lounge, indoor outdoor pool, exercise facility, whirlpool, sauna. Guest rooms contain remote controlled television, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. King rooms also have a sofa bed. Ann Arbor Best Western Executive Plaza has plenty of free parking. It's an easy walk to both cheap and good food, an excellent Thai restaruant, a couple of good Chinese places, and American, Mexican, Fast Food, etc. A short taxi ride gets you into downtown Ann Arbor, with some micro-brew-pubs, top quality restaurants, music, theater, movies, shopping, etc. Registration Information All prices are US$. Technical Sessions (Thursday to Saturday) registration includes: Access to all conference technical sessions Access to evening BOFs and community meetings One set of proceedings on CD Breakfast and morning and evening snack breaks Each tutorial is one half-day session (3 hours instruction time + one break). Tutorials have limited space. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tutorial Sessions (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) registration includes: Access to all registered tutorial sessions Complete course handouts Snack break during the tutorial Conference Fees Regular Price Technical Sessions $395 Tutorials (per half-day tutorial) $195 Extra Proceedings (CD-based) $5 Extra Proceedings (Paper-based) $20 Walk-in registration: Add $100 to your total fees when registering on-site. Special Discounts Full Time Student Technical Session fee is only $150 for students, with proof of status, a copy of your student ID and class schedule. IEEE or Usenix Member: Deduct $100 from your total fees if you are a member of IEEE or Usenix. Presenters Paper presenters receive a reduced rate of $150 for the technical sessions. Transportation Air Ann Arbor is served by the Detroit Metro (DTW), Lansing (LAN), Willow Run and Ann Arbor airports. Willow Run and Ann Arbor are private pilot/charter strips, while Lansing and Detroit Metro are commercial airports. DTW is a hub for Northwest and KLM. NOTE: Northwest is offering discounted fares to Tcl/Tk attendees. Local It will not be necessary to rent a car for the duration of the conference. You can reach the Best Western Executive Plaza from the airport by Yellow Cab Taxi ($22 one way). If there are more than 3 folks in a party, can save money by reserving a minivan from Metro Taxi for $39 per van load. Once you reach the hotel, there are several good restaurants within a brisk walk, or a short cab ride puts you in downtown Ann Arbor, where there are many fine restaruants, microbrew pubs, jazz and folk clubs, etc. Registering by Mail Request a plain text form be emailed to you. Cancellation Policy If for any reason you need to cancel your registration, please email [email protected]. Registration fees for cancellations received before July 1st will be refunded after a $100 processing charge has been deducted.
